Compliance Manager Monitoring-- Associate\-Director As an Associate\-Director in the Compliance department, you will be in charge of one of the Monitoring team. Reporting directly to the Head AML Transaction Monitoring\- Vice\-Director, you will be in charge of the supervision of the operational activities and the people management in accordance with your senior management. **Key responsibilities** Operations management: * Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, including task coordination, performance management, and professional development of team members; * Oversee compliance and AML reviews of crypto currency transfers, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher\-risk transactions; * Oversee compliance and AML reviews of cash, securities and crypto currency transfers made by Financial Institutions, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher\-risk transactions; * Supervise the handling of sanctions alerts, providing escalation and final validation as needed; * Supervise the investigation on potentially suspicious clients; * Drive the optimization of internal procedures, including drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and guidelines; * Represent Compliance in key regulatory and strategic projects, ensuring the monitoring function is embedded in business initiatives; * Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and front\-line teams, offering clear and pragmatic compliance guidance. Team Management: * **Leading and supporting the Monitoring team:** + Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization; + Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members; + Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner; + Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities. * **Hiring:** + Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner; + Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles. * **Performance Management:** Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues. * **Conducting under performance process** with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner. **Qualifications** * University degree in Law, Economics, or a related field -- a certification in Compliance Management is a strong asset; * Significant experience (minimum 5--7 years) in a Compliance function within the financial industry, with proven leadership and team management skills; * Fluent in English and French; German is a strong asset; * Strong analytical mindset and structured, methodical approach; * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision\-making skills; * Collaborative leader, comfortable working in a multicultural, dynamic, and tech\-driven environment. jpid2157d82jm jpit0938jm jpiy26jm
