We are seeking a collaboration of at least one year, ideally longer, with the successful candidate. No previous tour guiding experience required.** **A flexible part\-time role designed to fit around other professional or personal commitments. Our tours are in English and upon request in French and other languages. Our customers are tourists visiting Geneva, companies organizing events for their employees but also locals. **You're charming and entertaining. We want you on our team!** While leading the Chocolate Flavours walking tour, you will play the role of a Geneva chocolate and cultural ambassador, offering participants interesting anecdotes and information on Geneva and Switzerland's chocolate history. While on the tour the visitors should have the feeling that they are discovering Geneva with a good friend in an entertaining and memorable way. **QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS** • warm and friendly personality • strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in an engaging manner • motivated, energetic and open\-minded • orientation to customer service • organizational skills and reliability • must be flexible and solution\-oriented • you love learning • familiarity with Geneva's chocolate and cheese, history and culture • you take good pictures with your phone and have a good quality phone • you are active on Social Media (Instagram, Facebook) **•** Fluent English \& French • Fluent German, Mandarin or Spanish is an asset. • Another language is an asset • No previous tour guiding experience needed **WHAT WE OFFER:** • fun job opportunity with short working hours • possibility to work around your other professional or personal commitments. • possibility to meet people from all over the world • possibility of long\-term collaboration and increasing the number of tours **HOW YOU WILL BE SUPPORTED:** You'll receive a "Chocolate Flavours Tours Training" of 37 hours to get you up to speed on Geneva's history, architecture and chocolate. **Pay:** • **Hourly pay:**Local Flavours Tours will pay you CHF per hour, to which holiday pay is added. Each tour and the work required before and after represent 4 hours. • **Training:**The training duration is 37 hours, and the first 8 hours are unpaid. The remaining 29 hours are paid at CHF per hour. Learning the scripts for conducting the tours is included in these 37 hours. • **Bonus and tips** • Based on positive feedback from customers (and in general of our clients give us 5\* reviews), you will receive an extra bonus from Local Flavours Tours. • Happy customers are always EXTREMELY generous with tips, so this will represent an impressive part of your earnings. Tips of CHF 10 per person are the norm. As soon as we find the right candidate we will hire. **OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION:** • You are able to reliably reach the tour starting points in central Geneva. • Tours are 3 hours long and you need to be available 30 min prior to the departure of the tour, pm or . You'll be hosting small groups of max 15 guests on most tours. Administrative work prior and post tour is 30 min. So a total of 4 hours. • From September to May, you should be available for 3 tours per week (running more tours per week is also a possibility). During peak periods, especially in summer and winter, you should be available for additional tours. • Your tour schedule will be defined by Local Flavours Tours, taking into account both your availability and the company's operational needs. • You will be required to work on Saturday and sometimes on Sunday. • You are flexible in case more tours are needed. • The schedule is either from 10 pm; in the peak season you might also have some afternoon tours from pm to pm. You own a mobile phone that takes good pictures with internet access, have desktop/laptop\-based internet access in your place of residence, and own an iPad/tablet. **TO APPLY** **Please apply in English.
