Head of Institutional Growth and International Development
The Head of Institutional Growth and International Development at AUS is responsible for driving high-level enrollment, scaling, and market expansion strategies across both degree-granting programs and executive education offerings. The role leverages data analytics, market trends, and high-value corporate partnerships to identify new demographics, geographic opportunities, and customized professional programs, ensuring the institution's long-term competitive edge, sustainable expansion, and commercial success. The position requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and an in-depth understanding of higher education and executive training ecosystems.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drives institutional enrollment scaling by identifying target demographics, emerging geographic markets, and high-demand program opportunities.
- Leverages advanced data analytics, market intelligence, and global higher education trends to advise the Management Committee on new and existing degree offerings.
- Works directly with the Marketing and Admissions teams to streamline lead generation, recruitment pipelines, and application-to-enrollment conversion to maximize net student revenue.
- Evaluates international market indicators to establish institutional expansion initiatives, articulation agreements, and dual-degree partnerships.
- Contributes to the AUS Strategic and Operational Plans, driving institutional strategic management, KPIs, and growth benchmarks.
- Collaborates with Academic Leadership and the Quality Assurance team to ensure new market offerings align with academic standards, accreditation requirements, and student retention goals.
- Establishes strategic relationships with external stakeholders, educational institutions, and industry bodies to support footprint expansion.
- Provides external representation for AUS academic offerings at international recruitment forums, summits, and institutional networking events.
- Supports the Marketing and Communications team in positioning AUS programs effectively across targeted global regions and digital platforms.
- Reports regularly to the Management Committee on institutional growth metrics, demographic trends, and enrollment forecasts.
- Executes other institutional growth and expansion duties as reasonably assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications :
● Master’s degree required; a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) is strongly preferred.
● Full professional fluency in English, French, and Arabic.
● Deep knowledge of the operational environment and student demographics in higher education institutions.
● Demonstrated track record in strategic growth, student recruitment pipelines, market expansion, or higher education business development.
● Proficiency in data analytics, market segmentation, and higher education predictive forecasting to identify sustainable revenue opportunities.
● Proven ability to build, manage, and leverage partnerships with international institutions, recruitment networks, and corporate stakeholders.
● Exceptional cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
● Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with academic and administrative leadership to align growth initiatives with institutional strategy and accreditation frameworks.
