Your new responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics for our Cloud Software development teams
Collaborate closely with software development, product, and engineering teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective dashboard solutions
Apply best practices in data visualization and user experience to ensure dashboards are intuitive, actionable, and support data-driven decision-making
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
Manage and version control PowerBI assets and related scripts using GitLab
Support in connecting to various data sources, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Contribute to implementing complex DAX formulas and M-queries to create robust data models and insightful calculations

Your talents and experience

You are currently enrolled in a Swiss University and pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Informatics, or a related quantitative field at a university or University of Applied Sciences
Experience with Microsoft PowerBI Desktop, or a strong interest and aptitude for learning its functionalities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitLab
Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data manipulation (e.g., Python, SQL, TypeScript) is a plus
Be a motivated and proactive student with excellent problem-solving skills and a dedicated, results-oriented work style
Fluent in English
Very good knowledge of German would be an advanatge
