Syngenta Crop Protection AG is hiring in Münchwilen. The Principal Scientist joins the Application Technology group and leads end-to-end product testing to ensure reliable performance across application technologies used in crops worldwide.
Tasks
- Own Fit-for-Use testing from product design specification through analysis and communication
- Define risk-based test plans, methods, acceptance criteria and evidence requirements
- Provide Application Technology expertise across product development
- Identify application risks, compatibility issues and customer needs, and drive actions to resolution
- Develop test methods, application concepts and solutions using automation, data and digital tools
- Coordinate laboratory and application operations, maintenance and equipment upgrades; champion HSE
Requirements
- University degree in agronomy, biology, agricultural engineering or a related scientific or engineering discipline
- Strong knowledge of crop protection application technologies, agronomy and product-use practices
- Ability to define test strategies, interpret technical data and make clear recommendations
- Strong project management, analytical thinking, innovation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Customer-focused approach, attention to safety and data quality, and proactive, adaptable working style
- Fluent English

- German; additional languages beneficial
