ppThe Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SR HRBP) will work closely with the Director of HR to provide thought leadership and drive HR initiatives that align with TRISTAR’s long‑term goals and strategic business objectives. The SR HRBP serves as a subject‑matter expert across multiple HR functions, including workforce planning, leadership development, employee relations, performance management, compliance with employment laws and regulations, and acts as a trusted advisor to management and employees. /p pbJob Type: /b Full‑time /p h3Supervisory Responsibilities /h3 ul liMay provide functional guidance, training, and mentorship to junior HR staff or administrative support personnel. /li liNo direct supervisory responsibility unless assigned. /li /ul h3Essential Functions and Duties /h3 ul liDevelop and implement HR initiatives that align with business goals and long‑term strategic plans. /li liLead organizational change initiatives, restructures, and business transformation. /li liProvide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning. /li liAnalyze workforce metrics and recommend solutions to improve performance and engagement. /li liSupport recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives. /li liCoach executives and people managers on leadership effectiveness. /li liSupport conflict resolution and difficult employee conversations. /li liManage complex employee relations issues and workplace investigations. /li liSupport updating and creating HR policies and procedures. /li liEnsure consistent application of HR policies and employment practices. /li liDevelop management plans and communication strategies. /li liPartner with Compensation and Benefits teams on salary planning and market competitiveness. /li liPartner with Legal and HR Compliance Manager on employment related matters. /li liProvide guidance to managers on policy interpretation, performance management, corrective action, and compliance. /li liCollaborate with Learning and Development to identify leadership and employee development opportunities. /li liStay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and employment law. /li liLead or support HR projects, audits, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. /li liPerform other duties as assigned. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development. /li li10+ years of progressive HR experience. /li li4–6+ years supporting senior leaders as an HR Business Partner. /li liProfessional HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or higher). /li liMust be a U.S. Citizen. /li liMust be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance. /li liExperience supporting senior leadership and multiple business units. /li liExperience supporting a multi‑site government contracting environment. /li liExperience leading HR initiatives or projects. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /li liAdvanced interpersonal, coaching, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills. /li liStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. /li liProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. /li liStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. /li liAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and strict confidentiality. /li liIn‑depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. /li liProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liSHRM‑SCP or SPHR. /li liProsci Change Management Certification. /li liProficient knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Automate. /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 ul liRemote – primarily office‑based with extensive computer and HRIS use. /li liTravel to corporate office once a month. /li liOccasional travel for industry events, client sites, and support of HR initiatives and projects. /li liFrequent interaction with employees, managers, and leadership both in person and virtually. /li liFlexibility to work outside of standard business hours to support time‑sensitive or confidential HR matters. /li /ul h3About TRISTAR /h3 pTRISTAR is an SBA‑certified Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned professional services company supporting the U.S. Department of Defense programs.
