ppOur client, a leading international private bank, is looking for a bSenior Backup Engineer /b to join its infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the enterprise backup environment, ensuring the security, availability, and recoverability of business-critical systems. /ph3Job Description: /h3ulliManage daily backup and restore operations across the enterprise environment. /liliPlan, coordinate, and participate in disaster recovery testing. /liliDevelop monitoring and automation solutions for backup and recovery processes. /liliSupport the design and modernization of the backup infrastructure, including migration and transformation projects /liliWork closely with infrastructure teams on system-related activities. /liliParticipate in the on-call support rotation. /li /ulh3Required Skills Experience: /h3ulliDegree in Computer Science or a related field /liliAt least 3 - 5 years of practical experience in the field of backup management, engineering, and enterprise backup solutions /liliSolid understanding of SAN storage, Linux, Windows, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning /liliExperience with Red Hat Linux and UNIX-based operating systems is highly desirable /liliAutomation skills and scripting experience are an advantage. /liliITIL and/or TOGAF certifications are beneficial. /liliStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, hands-on approach /liliExcellent communication and teamwork skills. /liliFluent English is required.
