Acting as a key control layer between commercial teams, banking partners, and operational execution, you will help ensure that complex Trade Finance transactions are appropriately structured, documented, risk-assessed, and executed in line with internal policies and international Trade Finance standards. /ppThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commodity Trade Finance Operations professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing critical business decisions, being closed to the execution of the Trade Finance instruments and working at the intersection of banking, risk management, and global trade. /ph3What You'll Be Doing /h3pAs a subject matter expert within the Trade Finance Solutions team, you will provide oversight, risk control, and advisory support for complex Commodity Trade Finance transactions. /ppWorking closely with Commercial, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, Operations, and international banking partners, you will help ensure transactions are structured correctly, risks are understood and mitigated, and controls are maintained throughout the transaction lifecycle. /ppYour responsibilities will include: /pulliReviewing, structuring, and validating Structured Letters of Credit and Trade Finance documentation. /liliProviding expert advice on transaction structures, Letter of credit wording, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements. /liliAssessing and approving complex and non-standard transactions, including multi-bank and cross-border financing structures. /liliActing as a key control layer between commercial structuring and operational execution. /liliSupporting and guiding global execution teams on complex transactions, exceptions, and best practices. /liliCollaborating with banks, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle. /liliMonitoring transaction accuracy, financial flows, and operational controls by ensuring timely, precise and efficient execution. /liliDriving operational excellence through strong governance, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. /li /ulh3Why This Role Is Different /h3pThis is not a traditional Trade Finance Operations role. /ppThe team serves as Bunge's center of expertise for complex and Structured Trade Finance transactions. While standardized operational activities are performed by global execution teams, your focus will be on transaction oversight, risk assessment, decision-making, advisory support, and control effectiveness. /ppYou will have the opportunity to: /pulliWork on sophisticated Trade Finance structures supporting global commodity trading activities. /liliPartner directly with leading international banks and financial institutions. /liliInfluence business decisions on high-value and strategically important transactions. /liliAct as a trusted advisor and recognized Trade Finance expert across the organization. /liliContribute to the continued growth of a global Trade Finance Solutions business. /li /ulh3What We're Looking For /h3pWe're seeking an experienced Trade Finance professional who combines deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, sound judgment, and a strong control mindset. /ph3Required Experience /h3ulli6+ years of experience in Trade Finance within a bank, commodity trading company, or international trade environment. /liliExperience in Commodity Trade Finance. /liliExpertise inLetters of Credit, Stand-by LC and guarantees /liliDeep knowledge in ICC rules and their application (UCP 600, ISBP, ISP98, URC 522, Incoterms) /liliExperience reviewing and validating complex banking and Trade Finance documentation. /liliStrong analytical, risk assessment, and decision-making capabilities. /liliExperience working with multiple stakeholders across locations, functions, and cultures. /liliFluency in English, both written and spoken. /liliStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word. /liliExperience coaching, mentoring, or training colleagues. /li /ulh3Preferred Experience /h3ulliStructured Trade Finance or Transactional Financing products. /liliReceivables financing, collateral management, or loan administration. /liliSAP knowledge. /liliAdditional languages such as French or Spanish. /li /ulh3What Will Make You Successful /h3pYou perform exceptionally well in complex, high-pressure environments that demand agility and sound decision-making.
