Tasks

• Maintain the MiCA licence and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
• Serve as primary FMA contact on licence matters and submit regulatory reports
• Oversee the AML team and AML/CFT framework
• Improve governance, policies and internal controls; support audits and regulatory reviews
• Manage legal and regulatory matters for the gift card business
• Provide regulatory input for new initiatives and prepare board and management reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Finance or a related field
• At least 5 years of regulatory affairs, compliance or legal experience in financial services, payments or crypto-assets
• Solid understanding of MiCA, AML/CFT requirements and Austrian/EU financial regulation
• Experience communicating directly with regulators and managing external counsel
• Team leadership experience
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluency in English
