Tasks

• Define and maintain information security strategy, policies, standards, ISMS and governance
• Assess information security risks and oversee implementation, monitoring and improvement of controls
• Coordinate security operations, incident response, threat analysis and remediation
• Oversee secure configuration, hardening, patch management, monitoring and security architecture
• Contribute to IT security business continuity, crisis management and stakeholder reporting
• Coordinate security awareness, vendor assessments and the central IT security budget

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, cyber security, information security or a related field
• At least 10 years of information and cyber security experience, preferably with leadership responsibility
• Experience developing security strategies, governance models, programs, policies and operational processes
• Hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, threat analysis, monitoring and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of security frameworks, architecture, network security, IAM, encryption, audit and compliance
• Relevant information security certifications or further education, including GDPR/DSGVO
• Proficient written and spoken German and English
