Alentis Therapeutics hires a Senior Research Associate in Allschwil for a 9-month contract. The role supports preclinical and clinical-stage research on fibrotic and inflammatory diseases and characterizes therapeutic antibodies.
Tasks
- Design and conduct discovery research to validate target biology and elucidate mechanisms of action
- Develop, optimize and execute functional biochemical and cell-based assays
- Assess drug development compounds using complementary methods and readouts
- Oversee cell culture of human and mouse cell lines and molecular, biochemical and cell-based assays
- Report data, prepare presentations and present at meetings
- Record scientific data and ensure traceability
Requirements
- Degree in fibrosis, immunology, molecular biology, biotechnology or a comparable discipline
- Experience in biochemistry, cell culture and immunoassays, including setting up and developing new assays
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and GraphPad prism for data analysis
- Fluent English and advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks
- Flexible, proactive, efficient and solution-oriented; team player able to adapt to change
- Swiss work permit or EU citizenship with eligibility to work in Switzerland

- Experience in the biotech/pharma industry
- Experience in fibrosis and inflammation research, cholangiocyte biology and cell senescence
