Hays (Schweiz) AG is recruiting for a freelance/temporary project in Zug. The Product Quality Engineer defines and implements product quality testing and test equipment requirements, working with suppliers and RDI.
Tasks
- Translate product specifications into test equipment requirements (URS)
- Develop test equipment and define its acceptance criteria
- Create test plans and implement them at suppliers and RDI
- Define sample sizes for IPC, product release testing and incoming goods inspection
- Conduct product quality inspection training for internal teams and suppliers
- Qualify test equipment, validate test methods and review related supplier documentation and FAI
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Natural Science or a related discipline, or apprenticeship with high subject matter expertise
- Relevant experience in a GMP-regulated producing company
- Experience in IVD product manufacturing and testing
- Knowledge of Process Management methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience in test equipment qualification and test method validation
- Knowledge of IVD regulations such as ISO 13485, IVDR or FDA 21 CFR part 820
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
