Randstad (Schweiz) AG is recruiting for a client, a world leader in in-vitro diagnostics, in Rotkreuz. The Product Quality Engineer plans product testing, ensures regulatory-compliant testing and trains project teams and stakeholders. The 12-month assignment may be extended.
Tasks
- Translate product specifications into test equipment requirements (URS)
- Define and develop test equipment and its acceptance criteria
- Create test plans and implement testing at suppliers and RDI
- Define sample sizes for IPC, product release testing and incoming goods inspection
- Conduct product quality inspection training for internal and supplier teams
- Qualify test equipment, validate test methods and review supplier Q&V documentation and first article inspections
Requirements
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, Natural Science or a related discipline, or apprenticeship with high subject matter expertise
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing company
- Experience in IVD product manufacturing and testing
- Knowledge of process management methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience in test equipment qualification and test method validation
- Knowledge of IVD regulations such as ISO 13485, IVDR or FDA 21 CFR part 820
- Excellent German and English communication skills; strategic, autonomous and structured approach
