A pharmaceutical company in Zürich is seeking a Packaging Engineer to manage global packaging engineering activities for commercial products. The role works with external CMOs and cross-functional teams on packaging operations, compliance and product launches.
Tasks
- Manage packaging engineering activities across external CMOs
- Maintain packaging documentation in compliance with cGMP
- Develop and approve technical drawings, specifications and release documentation
- Lead qualification and implementation of packaging components and modifications
- Support process validation, troubleshooting and quality investigations
- Manage packaging master data, regulatory compliance and product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similarly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical documentation practices
- Experience in packaging engineering, process validation and technical specification management
- Hands-on experience with packaging component qualification and packaging equipment
- Fluency in English
- Mandatory experience with TrackWise and electronic quality management systems
Nice to have
- Experience with Veeva or similar document management systems
