Within our Kalrez EMEA technical team, we are currently seeking a (AD Engineer) Application Development Engineer for Elastomer Parts business supporting the Semiconductor Industry. We are looking for a customer-focused, highly motivated Engineer to drive growth at strategic customer accounts within the electronic and Industrial market. Part of the technology organization, this position works in concert with commercial teams, marketing, custom parts, RD and operations to lead the technical and customer-facing aspects of new product and new application developments. /ph3Your key responsibilities: /h3ulliProvide Technical Support to assigned customers in the region, with focus mainly on Semicon Industries as well as CPI (Chemical Process Industry) customers /liliIdentify and develop new applications for Kalrez Perfluoroelastomer parts as per the Semicon and Industrial marketing plan /liliEnsure specifications of our products at the key OEMs, FABs, strategic end users and at relevant institutes / technical working groups /liliFollow technology trends, evolution of industry standards to be first-to-the market with up to date information and product /liliCoordinate part performance analysis to optimize product offering. /liliDefine corrective actions and follow-up to completion /liliConduct training, seminars and webinars to customers, new prospect and distributors in order to promote value proposition from the product line /liliLead/coordinate internal and competitive product evaluations, data generation packages, new test development /liliPrepare/contribute to product literature, sales tools and case stories for new and existing products /liliRaise product awareness through papers at relevant conferences and participate to fairs and events /li /ulh3Your qualification profile: /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Semiconductor Engineering, Microelectronic and Microsystem /liliStrong experience in the Semicon Industry (Fabs and/or OEM) with knowledge of sealing solutions /liliExperience for Application Engineer role or strong desire to work in customer-facing environment /liliExperience in design and simulation is an asset /liliKnowledge in Quality System like ISO9001 is welcomed (internal auditor, Quality responsible) as well in rubber technology /liliAbility and flexibility to travel independently of the location and working status (over 70 days of travel per year) /liliLanguages: fluent in English and German, basic in French is preferred /lili#LI-RS1 Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us! /li /ulpQnity offers a comprehensive pay and benefits package.
