OnTarget Communications is recruiting a full-time Flight Physics Team Leader for an aerospace role in Basel, Switzerland. The role leads a team of flight physics engineers and supports aircraft design, systems integration and development.
Tasks
- Lead and mentor flight physics engineers
- Develop, validate and apply flight physics models, simulations and analytical tools
- Meet technical objectives and maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with systems engineering, design, structures, controls and test teams
- Plan and execute budgets, schedules, resources and costs
- Lead design reviews, trade studies and program milestones
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Aerospace or Space Engineering
- At least 8 years of hands-on aircraft design, systems integration and Flight Physics development experience in Aerospace
- Strong understanding of FAR/CS-23 or FAR/CR-25 certification regulations
- Prior Flight Physics working experience in Aerospace
- Experience managing a team
