Adecco is recruiting for an international agribusiness company in Stein am Rhein for a temporary assignment of at least one year at 100%. The role advances synthetic chemistry research from discovery to development, delivering target molecules within research projects.
Tasks
- Execute synthetic routes safely, sustainably and independently
- Design synthetic routes to target molecules and molecule sets
- Assess risks of experimental procedures and raw materials under Syngenta HSE standards
- Document and communicate experimental procedures and data accurately
- Troubleshoot synthetic chemistry within projects
- Contribute to laboratory safety, productivity and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Master’s degree in synthetic chemistry, or 3–5 years of industrial experience after full apprenticeship training
- Proficiency in synthetic organic chemistry, including reaction design, retrosynthesis, troubleshooting, purification and structural elucidation
- High standards of HSE
- Collaborative and self-motivated, with ability to work autonomously
- Comfort with software for synthesis-program design and synthesis-data analysis
- Proficiency in English
